Dr Olivier Caunes

Doctor of General Medicine (PhD)  France, Dip bio molecular science, Dip bio chemistry applied to endocrinology

Olivier, our French doctor, has over thirteen years general practice experience with interests in chronic illness, paediatrics and family medicine. He is a member of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. His post graduate study in endocrinology makes him particularly knowledgeable in the diagnosis and management of hormonal issues. His strength is his ability to instantly engage with patients and ensure they are well informed and empowered to make the best decisions for their health and well being.


Dr Nayana Shah

MB BS, FRNZCGP, Dip Paeds, Dip Obs

Nayana has been in General Practice for 19 years and is a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. She is especially interested in chronic health issues.  Her strength is in her ability to understand you as a whole and help you understand your own mind, body, behaviours and relationships.

Nayana walks the talk in her own life, keeping up healthy eating and  lifestyle habits.  She is a vegetarian, a great cook, a keen organic gardener and practices mindfulness regularly.

Grace dos Santos

Grace is a Counselling Psychologist who has experience with a variety of psychological concerns. Her main therapeutic techniques are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy with strong emphasis on self-care and self-compassion.

Her practice is derived from a holistic approach, which aims to empower individuals by giving them the tools and understanding of personal circumstances to create a more enjoyable and fulfilling life.
She has a special interest in working with anxiety, stress and burnout, self-esteem, relationship difficulties and chronic health related issues.

Grace is committed to provide a non-judgemental environment for her clients so they feel valued and supported.

Originally from Brazil, Grace has been living in New Zealand for 15 years. She is also interested in yoga, meditation, food, teas and essential oils.

Katarina Nilsen

Katarina is a counselling psychologist with experience in a variety of settings. She tries her best to provide a supportive and compassionate environment where people can feel comfortable enough to get the help they need. She places great emphasis on working holistically, and together with people, keeping their context and background in mind.

She has a special interest in working with anxiety, and especially anxiety related to performance, social situations, relationships, and trauma. She is also passionate about working with physical health concerns and interested in the impact in which it sometimes has on our wellbeing, Identity and quality of life. She also works with a variety of other concerns, such as stress, depression, grief, relationships, bullying, abuse, life transitions, and adjustment

She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and in Narrative Therapy, and enjoys using mindfulness and relaxation actively in the sessions.

Outside work she enjoys the outdoors and the grounding nature of activities such as surfing, biking, hiking, cooking and being in nature.
